Happy new year! 2013 is here, and I am back on the air. As you may have noticed I haven’t posted anything in a while. I’m not dead or anything, I just decided to take a few weeks off from posting. I’m excited to be back again.

Lately I’ve been focusing a lot on shooting portraits and learning how to light. Experimenting, trying different stuff and learning as I go. I’m enjoying it! This picture is shot with a Canon 5D Mk II, 50/1.4 lens, and a Nikon SB-900 flash in a small softbox.

Life is full of intersections. Some roads are easy to take, they’re safe but boring. Even depressing. Others are harder and might lead to complete failure. But although terrifying at times, they might also lead to something new and exciting.
