There’s no denying that luck plays a huge part in street photography. It is often those elements of luck, or accidents if you will, that can make or break an image. Things we didn’t plan or didn’t even notice when we took the picture.
I think the image above is a good example of that. If it weren’t for that face in the bottom of the frame this would’ve been a pretty boring picture. But now, thanks to this “happy accident”, it’s become one of my favorite street photos.
So I guess the bottom line is: Keep clicking and embrace those accidents whenever they happen to show up!

Haha yeah, I guess boring is a bit harsh.. It would probably still be alright. But that head popping up is really what makes this picture interesting to me.
The kid in the foreground with one eye open definitely elevates the image from a decent one to a good one!
